For the past 10 years, I have worked almost every Saturday on my tree farm in southern Michigan. I have planted over 2,000 hardwood trees, cut down more trees than I can remember and built a little ‘get-a-way’ cabin. For me, it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Growing trees is my pastime but it is not my passion. My passion is to pastor River Oaks Community Church and to grow fully devoted followers of Christ.

I have been at River Oaks from its beginning, almost 20 years ago, and have watched it grow from a Bible Study of 17 adults to over 1,200 attendees. I hope you enjoy and are challenged by this site on creation and evolution. Most of all, I hope it draws you closer to the Creator of both biological and eternal life, Jesus Christ.
